Cape Breton House
This renovation was undertaken to
add storage and sleeping spaces to an existing residence while also opening the
building to exterior gardens and riverbank beyond. The renovation increases
interior lighting via new skylights and adds exterior space through stepped gardens
and covered decks. The renovated structure is clad with locally sourced lumber
and wood shingles that frame both solid walls and sliding panels.
